GIANLUCA FUSTO IN LOŠINJ (CROATIA)

Gianluca Fusto goes to the island of Lošinj (Croatia), for two dinners and a workshop in the charming (and luxurious) setting of the Cikat Bay, the green heart of the island, thanks to the presence of a dense pine forest just a stone’s throw from the sea, and whose beach has been awarded the ‘White Flag’ title, a symbol of a guarantee of clean sea and seabed.

Located in the Kvarner Gulf in the northern Adriatic, the island of Lošinj is the perfect place for a revitalizing holiday at any time of the year. As the southern part of the Cres-Lošinj archipelago, with a number of smaller islands surrounding it, it enjoys a favorable location and a beneficial microclimate. This is where the Losinj Project was launched, a project that restyled the entire bay, with the aim of re-evaluating and enhancing some of the island’s most beautiful Habsburg buildings. This gave rise to three five-star luxury hotels, the Bellevue, Boutique Alhambra and Villa Hortensia. Great importance is given to the best food and wine, especially the Alfred Keller restaurant: named after the famous Viennese architect who designed the Alhambra hotel in the early 20th century. The Alfred Keller restaurant was awarded 2 chef’s hats (15 points) by the 2017 Gault Millau guide.

Here Fusto will be called upon to prove his mastery on 27 and 28 May, in the presence of international journalists and influencers.
